As he did every other night, on Christmas night the father, who was a fisherman, went out to sea in the hope of bringing home a good catch. He was never seen again.The family who survived on the meager income they gathered by selling fish now have no way of getting on their lives having lost their only breadwinner. If having lost their only source of income, a caring father and a loving husband was not bad enough they have also lost their only shelter as the merciless waves seriously damaged their house.

Helping this family reconstruct their house would be an enormous relief and would help uplift their current state of mind. We were unable to obtain a photo of the entire family since some of the children were in great fear of strangers after the trauma they have just endured and refused to be photographed.
